スラッグ射撃での先台の持ち方

　ライフルの依託射撃では、銃床の後ろに手を置き、微妙な高さ調整をする場合があります。

　スラッグ射撃でこれをやると、猛烈な跳ね上がりがおきます。
　銃所持して初めての依託射撃で、これをやらかした記憶があります。

　12番スラッグの銃口弾速（Muzzle Velocity)は1300～2000fps
（関連記事：12番20番のスラッグ、サボット弾一覧）

　フェデラルの鉛サボット(F127 SS2)は弾速は1500fps（feet/s）

　新レッドバードの弾速は1542fps
　１フィートは0.3048mなので、1542fpsを換算すると毎秒470m。

　ライフルの場合、2800fps程度。
　スラッグやサボットは、ライフルの半分ぐらいの弾速になります。

　新レッドバードの1542fpsで、火薬が燃焼してから銃口を出るまでのバレルタイムを計算してみます。
　msはミリセカンドで1000分の１秒。

　リコイルの跳ね上がりを考えてみます。
　銃の種類や銃床やリコイルパッドの形にもよりますが、1秒間に20度の跳ね上がりと仮定すると、1.30msの時間では、0.026度になります。

　三角関数のタンジェントで計算すると、0.026度は水平距離1に対して0.00042
　水平距離50mでは2.1cm、100mでは4.2cmの動きになる。

　そもそも、火薬が燃焼し弾頭が動いた瞬間から、リコイルを感じるのはゼロ秒でいいのだろうか。

　Your front hand goes on top of the barrel to hold it down
　If the gun has iron sights that don't permit a top-down hold, grasp it firmly by the fore-end and pull down to keep the muzzle from rising while the slug is still in the barrel.

“At the range, you cannot shoot a slug gun like you’re shooting a rifle,” he says. “When you sight in a rifle, you have the rifle on a bench rest and don’t touch the front end of the gun. You simply look through the scope and pull the trigger. The recoil forces the barrel to jump, but the brass-jacketed round will outrun the muzzle jump. (The bullet is out of the barrel and on its way, in other words, before the recoil causes the barrel to jump upward.)

“If a slug gun is fired while you’re not holding the forend down, the barrel will jump and throw the slug up in the air, as much as six inches at 100 yards. So you think you have it dialed in, but what you actually did was dial in the muzzle jump. So you get out there hunting, and you’re holding the gun with both hands, a deer is in your sights, you shoot, and you’re hitting way low.

“Even though a shotgun slug is really fast, it’s not as fast as a rifle bullet, so you have to hold a slug gun down firmly as you sight it in.”

自分の射撃姿勢やリコイルの逃し方などを動画で撮り、ちゃんと見返さないと、どんな姿勢が良いのかも分からなくなりそうです。

　競技としてのライフル射撃については、ネット上でも書き物が見つかります。
　スラッグ射撃はリコイルも強いですし、引き金の重さも競技銃とは違うので、トリガーコントロールも異なると思います。

　６粒９粒などが自粛になりましたし、狩猟者にとって「スラッグ射撃」を学ぶ資料が、もうちょっと充実すると良いのですが。
